As transfer season continues in the world of rugby league, another NRL star is being actively offered to Super League clubs for 2019.

Former St Helens forward Sia Soliola, currently of Canberra Raiders, is the man in question and any return to Super League would mark his second stint in the competition after five years wearing the ‘Red Vee’ before returning to the NRL in 2015. Soliola, now 31, scored Saints’ first try at their new stadium in 2012 and also captained them to Super League success two years later in his final appearance for the club in their 14-6 defeat of Wigan Warriors.

While the twelve-time Kiwi international’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he is being touted around by his representatives, it hasn’t been made plain that he has no future at Canberra or in the NRL as of yet.
