Mike Grady has seen his employment with Betfred League 1’s North Wales Crusaders terminated after around 18 months at the helm.
Last season he guided the Wrexham based club to the League Cup final last season, ultimately losing out to Barrow, in his first full season in charge having taken over towards the end of 2016. This season has seen the club fall to two defeats in their first three league matches against Hunslet and Oldham with the other league fixture seeing the club draw at home with London Skolars. The club also fell out of the Challenge Cup following a heavy loss against Championship team Featherstone.
It is believed that the decision to allow Grady to leave was mutual between the man himself and the club’s board with CEO Andy Moulsdale explaining that “after talks with Mike yesterday, it was agreed that we would go our separate ways. I’d like to thank Mike for his enthusiasm for the job over the last 18 months. I wish him the very best for the future.”
